This book covers more than 30 North American cities, with specific directions and maps to the best birding sites in each city. Intended for the birder who has from several hours to a whole day available for birding. Each chapter is authored by a local birding expert (or team of experts), and is compiled and edited by Paul Lehman, former editor of Birding magazine. Locations covered include both close-in urban sites as well as a selection of more distant sites.
