Guide to Birds of North America version 4 is used in most Colleges and Universities as the course textbook. Schools, Universities and Libraries often have computer labs where many students may come to view the same course material at the same time.

The Thayer DVDs allow only one user at a time. This is a big problem for schools where many students may need to use the program at once.

This 10-Student Lab Pack will legally allow up to ten computers to run the program at the same time. For more than ten lab seat licenses, please change your quantity to 2 or 3 to get 20 or 30 lab seat licenses. You load the program on each individual computer. This is a desktop application. It is not specifically designed to work in a client server environment.

This Lab Pack is for Windows or Mac computers. With version 4, you can:

Download songs and photos to an iPod for your own personal use.
Add your own comments and photos for each bird.
Identify birds by sound in the ID Wizard.
Use the new "Pick One" quiz -- see four bird photos and pick the right one.
